Cycling Merit Badge (Eagle Merit Badge!)
Troop 713 is proud to continue the Cycling Merit badge! This will be our 4th year doing the Merit Badge!
This merit badge is one that is required for Eagle (one of three - Cycling, Hiking or Swimming.)
MINIMUM AGE IS 13 at the time of riding OR a 12 year old can join, but a parent must ride with them.
This merit badge will require each rider to have the following:

- A Bike [any type will work, a hybrid or road bike would be best] See this page for the different types of bikes.
- An road approved safety helmet
- A light for the front and rear of your bike
- Proper riding clothing

The Tour de Houston will start in Downtown Houston and take riders through midtown, uptown, the Galleria and to West Houston and back! It will truly be a memorable ride!
